Types and Fields
Welcome to the BibRef Pro Database.
In this database you can organize your bibliographic references within a scheme that
is derived from BibTex. There are 13 different Entry Types. Each has its own layout
specific Entry Fields. A field is either required (symbol 0) or optional. For more
information click on the button Types and Fields. Click on the Current button or on an
entry type name to go to the layout of tC
he current entry type.
There is also a common layout for all entry types, where you can enter additional
information to each entry, such as ISBN, keywords, annotations and so on. Click on the
More button to go
to the common layout.
The database has a home page, where you can add new entries, select subsets and
perform some special operations. An entry type statistic of the current selection is
also shown on the homE
e page. Click on the Home button to go to the home page.
You can always Mark or Unmark an entry. A marked entry is provided with a symbol l.
With Get Citations you can import a special text file, which will ma
rk an entry with
another symbol
. A cited and marked entry gets symbol
. You can Export the current
selection as a text file, which contains the Key and the Reference or you can export the
current selection aGWs MML, a FrameMaker format.
